Perfect for Halloween!
Jolly, I've made something very similar for a standing meat pie. Yes, the crust has to be sturdy, but it can still be tasty. Hubby and kiddo love this kind of thing.
Edit to add: I used a springform pan and made the crust completely solid, no seams.
I thought it was neat stuff. Imagine cooking a deer hindquarter this way...
