Exactly. When you want someone's opinion you'll ask for it, especially when it comes to your perfectly wonderful cooking and grilling. Until then, they can just keep their traps shut and enjoy your delicious food. An occasional burp and "Mmmmmmmmmm this is so good" will be quite sufficient.

I find taciturn and aloof don't mix well with wine. It's one or the other, and the wine always wins.
