It’s funny all this talk about biased moderators. It’s not like the candidates answer the questions anymore anyway.

      You were warned.

        Good point.

The saying, "Lite is just one damn thing after another," is a gross understatement. The damn things overlap.

I was surprised that Pence came back and at least placed himself squarely pro-life after avoiding the "what would you do question" in the first go around. I had snarkily told my wife that he had dodged it but then he covered it in the next question.

But even then, the question was something like “if you were governor of Indiana, would you make abortion illegal in a post-Roe world”.

And his answer, after a long criticism of Democratic views in the subject, was simply that he’s proudly pro-life.

Candidates basically note the topic of the question and just recite their talking points around the topic. Sometimes at the end a quick vague answer to the actual question itself, but often not if it’s uncomfortable.

            You were warned.

Last time I checked governors weren't dictators, and the voters in his State would determine what the state would do.

The actual question didn't require him to be a dictator, I was paraphrasing.

If Roe V Wade is overturned, what would you want Indiana to do? Would you want your home state to ban all abortions?

                You were warned.

Just note her contempt for Trump in her introduction at the debate and I would be fine with it.

An experienced politician will never commit to anything.

                    Things change.

Mr. Trump committed to all kinds of things.

                    So was he
                    A. An evil, racist, lying, bad politician who flip-flopped
                    B. A sensible business man who changed with the times
