Literally it does. DOs are currently undertaking an unprecedented study of how empathy changes over time in medical students. Oh and yes, it's scientific and evidence-based.

Well, I still stand by that statement. But of course a DO can still do a great job. I was merely saying that I wouldn't trust somebody who does evidence-based medicine AND some form of "alternative medicine" because, in my opinion, it spoils their credibility. I assume you grant me the freedom to choose myself whom I trust?
I think it's pretty obvious you have an internet understanding at best of the difference between European osteopaths and American DOs, so you really shouldn't even conclude that much at present. But yeah absolutely, free country, yours and mine!

Still, for me this is a new maximum of Trump cringe-worthiness. A comparison to the personality cult in, say, North Korea doesn't look completely absurd anymore.

Trump’s physician, Dr. Sean Conley, said in a memo shared by White House officials that the president “as a precautionary measure” has “received a single 8 gram dose of Regeneron’s polyclonal antibody cocktail.”
“He completed the infusion without incident,” Conley wrote.
Regeneron’s experimental drug cocktail has yet to be approved for wider use. Results shared by the pharma giant just this week showed that some non-hospitalized Covid-19 patients who took the two-antibody treatment saw reduced viral levels and improved symptoms.
Regeneron confirmed in a statement to CNBC that it provided the dose to the president in response to a “compassionate use” request from Trump’s doctors. That term refers to a way patients can access experimental drugs outside of clinical trials.
Trump has also been taking zinc, vitamin D, melatonin, a daily aspirin and the histamine-blocker famotidine, Conley said in the memo.
“As of this afternoon the President remains fatigued but in good spirits. He’s being evaluated by a team of experts, and together we’ll be making recommendations to the President and First Lady in regards to next best steps,” the physician said.
Conley’s memo added that first lady Melania Trump, who also tested positive for Covid-19, “remains well with only a mild cough and headache.”
