    https://www.washingtonpost.com/nation/2020/10/05/chris-wallace-trump-masks-debate/

1st Presidential debate moderator Chris Wallace castigates the Trump party for breaking mask wearing rules that the campaign agreed to.

“No,” he said, “those were the rules, and there was no freedom of choice. They broke the rules. Why did they break the rules?”
    ...
“There are the rules, and they’ll be kicked out next time.”

Getting kicked out is good for a candidate's street cred.

      Education is extremely important.

Either side, they won't kick them out, that is for sure. But it does frustrate me that the debates set up the rules, (not only mask wearing, but the concept of the debate, etc) and yet neither side is able to follow it.

That is why I think that something like a microphone silencer is a good idea.

"You agreed to the rules. So, you should not complain if we silence your microphone."
