It really only affects those who refuse it. No harm,no foul.
False, it also increases the risks for those who want to but cannot take the vaccine for legitimate medical reasons. E.g., those who were born with certain allergies that disqualify them from taking the vaccines, they rely on herd immunity of those around them as they cannot take the vaccine themselves.

33 people out of 25 million vaccines given have had life threatening reactions per the CDC. As usual you are lost in the weeds.
0.00000132%.

Allergy is but one medically legitimate reason that prevents one from taking a vaccine, but let’s say there’s no other reason and run with it.
Oh well, I suppose if those 33 people out of 25 million (435 people out of 328 million Americans) are not family or anyone I care about, screw ‘em, right?

please don’t tell me government should be organized around 33 people. Actually I think you have many times.

So you belive this very small group of outliers justifies mandating an invasive procedure for 330 million Americans?
He believes he's found a rhetorical way of accusing the out-group of being compassionless. But typical of all attempts of leftist posturing towards the compassionate high ground, it is simply a matter of choosing who's feelings matter, and who's don't.

It's not really screw 'em
It's more like putting them in the same category as the millions of aborted babies

It is one thing to have compassion, it is another to have a compassion that ruins the lives of so many in favor of the few and to call that ideal governing.

For younger kids, just do it like they do now with other vaccines. Proof of vaccine to register for school.
Older people - my car license renewal?
I know companies now have higher rates for insurance if people smoke etc. do the same thing for COVID vaccine. No vaccine, your rate is X more higher than normal. ,

Do we know what the effectivity rate of the vaccine is likely to be?
If it's less than 100%, or 90% or whatever number you choose, then refusing the vaccine is going to adversely affect others. If enough refuse it, it could have a significant impact.
