Trump to quarantine awaiting Covid test

Image if you’re in bed with fever and chills and they tell you to get up and put a suit and tie on. Seriously fuck that.

I was thinking the same thing. However, it would have looked a lot worse if he didn't appear "presidential." Can you imagine him in "POTUS Jammies?"
Probably worse than not being seen at all, but...
Perception is reality, right?

By the way, he is getting a Regeneron polyclonal antibody cocktail. Regeneron is headquartered about 4mi from my house. The founder’s son just lost the primary to replace my Congress critter, and the chair of the house appropriations committee, Nita Lowy. I voted for him.

I don’t want to be too snarky but I seriously doubt that any HCQ is in consideration.
But maybe I’m wrong.

Clearly, the next debate should be held via Zoom, with both candidates and moderator forced to use a crappy laptop and bluetooth headphones whose batteries run out at the most inconvenient point.
They could further enliven the debates by allowing them to choose amusing backdrops of their choice.

Other advantages:
- Moderator (or anyone else) can hit the "mute" button.
- You can criticize the candidate for not wearing a mask.

I saw that this morning and heard that is was experimental and not even approve yet by the FDA. I am surprised that they would give an "experimental" treatment to the President.
But, I am sure that they looked that the possible down parts also and figured that it was almost nothing.

Jeff Fountain is a good man, and an extraordinarily clever man. My favorite part of Jeff Fountain is how he's able to begin a message as if it's a hackneyed noise of wisdom like we've all heard a thousand times before from a thousand different people, but then twist it right at the end to make his real point. This is a way to make the reader really think. And thinking, I believe, is very important.

So you don’t know who he is either. I just don’t get the post, and am wondering what I am missing out on. Words without context don’t mean much to me.

Guys, it's just a joke.
If you want puzzles, try those really annoying math threads Jon does.

Loki, pretend I said “seen on twitter” and just quoted the tweet.

Why would anyone assume a twitter post is a joke? I don’t think it is possible to satirize twitter except in a Twighlight zone episode where someone bases their reality based on it.
