Marc Racicot, a former governor of Montana as well as an ex-chairman of the Republican National Committee, endorsed Democratic nominee Joe Biden for president in an interview this week.“Even as a Republican, I will not be supporting Donald Trump for president, and I will not be voting for him,” Racicot, 72, told Home Ground Radio host Brian Kahn. “That means that I’ll be voting for Joe Biden for president.”

Totally normal to distance oneself from social pariahs. He might even have relationships with grandchildren to nurture. One does what one can, politics be damned.

I've had a lot of completely apolitical people confess to me privately they've now decided to vote for the Donald, but they've asked me not to mention this publicly.
How is that phenomenon alone not evidence enough that voting for Democrats might not be a very good idea?
