Magnum. Only with an Afghanistan war vet, and it should take place in Florida.
Part of what made the show better than it should have been was its novel portrayal of Vietnam vets. Everyone knew about Vietnam, but the show humanized the vets in ways no other show did at the time.
Afghanistan is entirely different. The problem with those vets is that no one knows they exist. No one's effectively addressed this in TV yet, not really.
Also? He should have a typical Afghanistan war vet background: be from some rural ass food desert of a place where recruitment numbers are high. Yet another demographic that American TV completely ignores.

They could re-make any number of TV shows featuring a bunch of Afghan war vets living in Florida. Friends, The Big Bang Theory, Fawlty Towers, Top Gear... the list is endless.

I have to admit, those are better ideas. I'd actually watch the Big Bang Theory if it were possible that some of the characters might get 'chooted.

The $6,000,000 Man. Here’s the catch, the cost of the bionics will still be $6,000,000 at full Hospital billing rates, which means the actual negotiated cost is $86.70.
Hilarity ensues...
