    100 Bolivar note from the mid-90s.

    FF66EC07-CD38-47BA-B157-DD44AC73CC63.jpeg

    The original iPod and the 2nd gen iPhone.

    The phone seems tiny in your hand. The iPod is very thick, an inch probably.

    Thank you for your attention to this matter.

      I found one of these at my mum's

      alt text

      It's a British semi-clone of a Tandy TRS-80 Color Computer.

      I was only joking

        In her 20s, my great-grandmother went to Japan. By herself. For about a month. No one else seems to appreciate how freaking weird this is.

        Anyway, I have a lot of stuff from her trip that I straightup stole from my parents, because they'd just put it on display or throw it in storage. I use the stuff.

        Here's a cup from a full tea set that's pretty interesting:

          @Aqua-Letifer wow!

          The saying, "Lite is just one damn thing after another," is a gross understatement. The damn things overlap.

            @George-K The portrait isn't paint, by the way. The density if the cup was manipulated to create it.

                      I am impressed, by the artistry of the cup and by your great-grandmother taking a solo trip to Japan.

                        Aqua, that really is remarkable that she did that trip in her 20s. About what year was that?

                        Your parents won't care you have the cups. They'll be glad you appreciate the set enough to want it.

                          I really don't know; my family doesn't even know when exactly she went, just "some time in her 20s." Best I can figure is somewhere around 1950, give or take half a decade?

                            Impressive Aqua. Too bad you don't have stories from her trip because I'm sure she had all sorts of adventures.
