Just for some perspective. These are tweets from "mainstream" folks on the death of Justice Scalia.

    David Ehrlich of Rolling Stone

Charles Finch, contributor to the New York Times, Slate, and The Washington Post

Glenn Greenwald (whom I've always respected, though disagreed with on many things):

Silvia Killingsworth of The New Yorker in two, now-deleted, tweets: "Wish I could be a fly on the wall for Scalia’s chat with the Devil,” and “Died in a ranch in Texas, God bless America.”

The saying, "Lite is just one damn thing after another," is a gross understatement. The damn things overlap.

I'd say they are the equal of any of Trump's blusters, albeit slightly more genteely couched.

@Mik said in Celebrating the death of a SCOTUS justice:

they are the equal of any of Trump's blusters

DId Trump do the same for public figures who had died?

          Sincere question.

But, even if he had, the people who criticize him (Greenwald and the guy at Rolling Stone) lost any standing in any debate about "high ground."
