Believe it or not, that's not that bad of a price in today's market. With stripper clips to reload the 10-round box mag, they're not a bad defensive weapon.

Killed many a GI in the early part of the Vietnam War.

They're more accurate than an AK, even with a pinned barrel. With decent ammo, you'll get 2" -2.5" at a hundred . I've popped more than one deer with them. And they do not kick.
