I further tried to commit myself to read the back story on the website. I couldnt get through it, it was so bad, like a catatonic schizophrenic stream of consciousness. I suppose I might be missing a piece of sense of humor that would render it genius.

The whole website is the equivalent of a 3AM stoner conversation and they actually monetized it. To great effect, too. They're making their living off of total nonsense. What's more, their customers know that and are fine with it.
