At the same time Susan Collins won’t say who she’s voting for in the Presidential election.
Somebody ran an ad against her saying “we finally found an undecided voter”. lol

I see no meaningful difference between that and refusing to name a preference between any two candidates that one has a distaste for. I am told that when both candidates are sufficiently bad, punting is a reasonable alternative for principled people.

Politicians have avoided answering questions for centuries - this guy's just so lacking in smoothness that he points out that he won't do it before he doesn't do it.
