Big cookout at my place!

Just discovered that either somebody didn’t completely seal the freezer door or it’s gone bad... Either way, I have 7 racks of ribs, 2 whole chickens, 4 steaks, 3 packs of brats, 3 packs of Italian sausages, 4 packs of chicken breast, 2 pork tenderloins, and 6 salmon filets to cook very soon....

Planning on using the chicken breasts for a white chicken chili and maybe a sausage/chicken ragu. All of which will be frozen. The steaks and the ground beef are going to make an interesting chili... One of the chickens will be stewed and frozen, the other will be lunch tomorrow. Salmon is on the menu tonight, and I will be smoking ribs all day tomorrow. I’m a little concerned about freezing ribs, though, I may pull the meat off afterward and try freezing that. I suppose the pork tenderloins can be sliced, grilled, and frozen?

Thawed. I may consider refreezing the ribs since they are in the hermetically sealed Costco packaging. The brats and sausages are probably okay, too.
My guess is that Karla took some meat out a week ago. There was a box next to the freezer and I think one of the flaps got between the seal and the freezer when she closed the door. The stuff has slowly thawed since then. Right now it feels like it’s coming from a medium cool fridge.

No vegetables and no fruit? Have you learnt nothing from Michelle?
