I can understand maybe a two or three year difference. But ten? No way.

The laws already in place. This just moves it beyond vaginal sex.

Also it’s still illegal. It just makes it up to the judge whether to put them on the sex offender list for the rest of their days.

This is a great law. Of course I won’t agree with the judge’s discretion in every case but there should be discretion on the margins.

It should roughly work this way everywhere.

        Only non-witches get due process.

So...you just have to be a young priest in order to abuse the children in the church...

22 year old college senior gets blow job from 17 year old freshman.

Might be illegal, but the judge can use common sense and not mark the guy as a pedo for life.

But he can still mark the priest abusing the kid as a pedo.

No doubt some judges will misuse their discretion but there will probably be fewer breeches of common sense than any formula will produce.

            Only non-witches get due process.

It's the DA's prerogative to prosecute a case. No DA I know down here would prosecute such a case, especially since 17 is the age of consent.

IWhat is the age of consent in California?

Vaginal is somehow worse than BJ? Lolwut?

What about the other ten million variants of sex?

So the Left says it's ok to kill children, and now it's ok to fuck them......

Anyone who has sex with a minor should be shot dead. I disagree that it's a "good idea" to leave it up to a judge whether or not to put them on a sex offender registry. They should not only be put on the registry, they should be permanently branded with a branding iron so everyone will know he's on the registry.

This is another example of how Leftwing thinking gradually rots society. At the same time this is happening there is a movement to have pedophilia recognized as a normal sexual preference. Do that, then take them off the registry, then next it will be decrminalized altogether.

Just shoot the bastards. Shoot the bastards who came up with this shit idea too, for that matter. Hell, just shoot Leftwingers.
