Yeah my son was ever so slightly disappointed to find out it was a 2019.
The mid-engine does 0-60 in 2.8 seconds.
This one is a meager 3.6. Lol

I've always been deeply suspicious of anybody who referred to a car as 'she', and this thread is doing nothing to allay my fears.

Quad exhaust, no waiting.

Too fast. You need something more practical, like an SUV. May I suggest...

@Horace Probably didn't quite break 100. But this was on relatively busy Westchester roads.
Where we tested it is on acceleration. Man does this thing growl when you punch it. We rented a Mustang GT and a Camaro SS before but this puts them to shame.

Brenda - ha!

If possible, you should rent a Tesla and see how it compares.

His bestie's dad drives one. They will accelerate well but without that growl. Not the same.

Style over substance, then.
When I drove the 'Vette, I was impressed with the sound and growl. That's purely psychological, of course. If it sounds more powerful, it must be more powerful. Numbers be damned.
As D'Oh (remember him?), or was it Klaus, commented on TOCR, there's a lot of money spent on tuning the sound of the exhaust and engine. Never understood that, and you can get off my lawn.

For the record it fits in the garage fine.
I’m just sayin’

Man, that redefines cool!
So I'm curious. When you lay down at night to go to sleep, in the back of your mind, isn't there a little bit of "damn, maybe I should just buy one." ??
I would just dwell on it, until I somehow rationalized buying one, or even leasing. To hell with common sense. -
Not really. It’s so damn impractical. I am thinking about a new car though. But I need to carry bikes on it.
But maybe I’ll rent something awesome every couple of months while the boy is in this phase and we aren’t traveling.
