How about zero presence of former presidents or even nominees from the party?

    That’s unprecedented.

It is and yet this election may be close? What does that say about the other side?

Well the fact that all living presidents and First Ladies and every living nominee spoke, says they’ve managed not to get hijacked yet. Key word being ‘yet’.

      Only non-witches get due process.

It says the other side has more support from former Presidents and former Presidential nominees. The side that has no such support sucks bigly.

          https://www.washingtonpost.com/media/2020/08/28/television-ratings-democratic-convention-edge-out-republican-convention/

“Across their respective four nights of programming, the Democratic convention averaged more than 20 million total viewers per night in the 10 p.m. spotlight viewing hour, compared with 17.4 million total viewers for the GOP convention.“

The TV viewership numbers are in. The Democratic National Convention has won the TV viewership comparison.

And yet the DNC is playing defense after the event. Looks like Trump won the convention round. So much nervousness. Frankly I am surprised too.

That’s interesting. Winning side got more viewers in every election for the last quarter century.

Jesus H. Christ. You democrats have list your fucking minds. TV viewership dropped sharply from a year ago as well. It wasn't because people preferred the democrat convention over the Republican convention, you fools. It was because a third of the country was trying to deal with a hurricane .

                Get a grip.

the Republican National Convention brought in 147.9 million total views across television and online between Monday and the end of Thursday night's programming, according to a senior campaign official.

The DNC convention, as Fox News previously reported, had 122 million total viewers through television and online.

In this day and age, undoubtedly "online" viewing constitute the majority. The problem is there is not a good way to accurately measure it. Read through the Fox News article and you would see that there is no information on methodology. Fox News don't tell even tell which streaming sites/platforms's statistics are included, much less any mention of the measurement methodologies used by those sites/platforms.

I also am surprised that both numbers are that high, considering a population of 350 million or so. Half the people watched?

Indeed. I would assume, however, that they used the same methodologies for DNC and RNC. It would be interesting to see what those were. And, the RNC numbers were quoted delivered by a "senior campaign official."

I watched both conventions...wait, let me rephrase that. When I watched both conventions, I watched on my computer via Comcast. Was I counted either time?

But what matters more than viewers is money, and the RNC outraised the DNC by about six million dollars.

                                  1. Seems counterintuitive that GOP would have more on-line users

Because the looters got all the smart TVs?

@Larry But, if you look at per cent of seniors who vote versus other age groups, then maybe Vice President Biden will get more votes from the two parades. LOL (though I think that President Trump has pretty high approval among seniors)

Remember that video segment where Trump spoke at a naturalization swearing in ceremony in the White House?

"Acting Homeland Security Secretary Chad Wolf said Sunday that he did not know a video in which he participated in a naturalization ceremony would be broadcast during the Republican National Convention."

                                        Do you believe him?

Ax 'ol pal 'ol bud, my mind-reading isn't even in the same universe as yours.
                                          So, do I believe him?
Am I suppose to? Or, not.
See, it's so much easier to mindread, when you are feigning asking just a simple, innocent little question, don't you think, where you already know the answer?
I tried. Can't do it. Just can't do it. I bow to your mastery. Your cognitive ability is like a pinball machine compared to mine.
