Cinco de Mayo, Rhode Island style
-
So I showed up to work yesterday in our RI office - we're celebrating Cinco de Mayo at lunchtime! Woot!
The food trucks rolled up. Since this is Rhode Island, one of them was called 'The Paddy Wagon', specialising in 'traditional Irish barbecue', which apparently is a baked potato with pulled pork on it. Who knew?
Hasta la Vista, baybee!

Now, this strikes me as a glass half empty thing. By trucks, I'd imagine at least one of them was Mexican?

Oh, I'm not complaining. The baked spud was actually pretty nice. I just thought it was funny.
Yes, truth be told there was a taco truck too - I chose the one without the enormous line.
'Traditional Irish barbecue' was also slightly misleading since it wasn't wasn't pouring with rain.
