Stay tuned for the next executive order: Supreme Court justices serve for at the pleasure of the President. I'm also wondering since it was previously ruled that he can do pretty much anything as long as it is "official". "Shame if something happened to that 'lifetime appointment' - since you know, like if that lifetime was shortened...."

There really could not be much of any other reason for it. Too late. You appointed them for life.

A good case can be made for the elimination/modification of birthright citizenship; however, the Constitution clearly does not permit it. The framers made it possible to amend the Constitution - and this would one of those places where that might make sense. Explained to the public, I think a majority of people of both parties would support it, but that's not where we are these days. If Trump is supporting it, then it must be opposed. Same would be true if Kamala had proposed it, not going to happen.
