The DNC Platform: 80% approval!

80% of delegates approve, that is. 1 out of 5 delegates voted "No" on the platform:

See, the DNC embraces debate and tolerates different opinions.
The RNC resolved to explicitly disallow any debate on party platform, much less taking a vote on it.

@Axtremus and the Democrats were so proud of their "diversity" that they didn't release the results of the vote until after the convention concluded.
Why are Democrats afraid of showing off their diversity to the public?

Whatever their reason, at least they debated and they voted on their platform.
Still way better than the Republicans who resolved to explicitly disallow any debate on party platform, much less taking a vote on it. -
And why release the vote during the RNC Convention?
Because they didn't want anybody to read the platform.
