Being that Trump (along with his bestie in the Kremlin) wants to turn the political back to the 19 century’s Age of Imperialism, it would make sense.

However dynastic marriages were more often used in the late Middle Ages and Renaissance, and only rarely produced long lasting positive results. Dynastic marriages certainly stoked the 100 Years War between England and France and England’s Wars of the Roses civil war that resulted in House of Tudor on the English throne.
