We had our company Christmas party at Gillette Stadium last night, and I got to watch some of a high school football game from a corporate box. Sadly Foxborough HS got beaten.

My God, it's a slow game.

Yeah, much more exciting to watch guys lightly jog down the field, then back, then back again while people just kick the ball back and forth. And if you’re lucky, there is 1 scoring play. 1. For the entire time. Wow. That’s exciting.

I guess hockey and basketball are the only two major sports that have a reasonable action density score. (A metric I just invented)

Hockey is pretty cool. Basketball should just give each team 90 points and start the game with 5 minutes left…
