The park and the Bean are free to viewers, but not residents.
I've been to the Wisconsin Dells. Once you get away from teh tourist stuff it's quite pretty.
And yeah, the author is nuts. Disney is great, the Alamo is fascinating and Oklahoma is only the center of the universe since Quirt moved there.

Is Grand Canyon really that bad? I've never been there yet but I thought it's one of the legit attractions.

Of course not. It is breathtaking, nothing like it. The problem lies in the fact that if you are not going down into it there isn’t much else to do. You can go from vantage point to vantage point but the view does not change all that much. Still, you should see it if you can.

Yes, it's a battle for bragging rights, and the one who lives longer gets to make their twine ball the biggest. I think the guy in Minnesoooooota died, so the honor probably has gone to Kansas now.
