I imagine being dragged along to see literally any of those, and my personal preference rank would be how long I think I'd have to spend at each before our obligation of having "seen" it was fulfilled. For that reason I would prefer to visit the biggest ball of twine, while places like Graceland, Branson, and especially Disney are at the bottom of the list. Omg the torture of "seeing disney" with someone who actually wanted to "see disney".

    Education is extremely important.

Though I live only 12 miles from downtown Chicago, I have never visited "The Bean." Never been to the Dells, either. Voodoo Doughnuts is a "meh" in my book, and Bourbon St. is like Chinatown with hookers.

          World's Tallest Filing Cabinet wins.

But to denigrate the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame is blasphemy. It's a great place.

Never been to The Bean either. I've been in a house of mirrors at a county fair which is essentially the same thing, only cheaper.

Bourbon Street is only fun for hardcore drunks with money. The Princess wnated us to go to Voodoo Donuts. Why the hell would I go across a continent and spend any time at all at a donut shop? I mean, it's a donut. They can only be so good.

So great that they picked MOA as the worst in Minnesoooooota, not the World's Largest Ball of Twine.

I was surprised at how "small" the Alamo was. It was very interesting and lots of history, but I guess I just expected something a bit more "grand".

The city has really grown up around that site, which I did not realize.

PS I thought the bean in Chicago, and @mik the park where it is located is free. No cost to go to there.

I've got more exciting rocks in the back yard than the one in Plymouth. Comparing that to Disney and Hollywood is pathetic. I would say that the rock is quite possibly the worst attraction in the known universe.

                        I was only joking

I thoroughly enjoyed passing the Blarney Stone without stopping to see it or kiss it. It wasn’t like Ulysses passing the Sirens for me.

Most of those are terrific attractions.

                            Several are excellent.

                            The author is nuts.

The park and the Bean are free to viewers, but not residents.

I've been to the Wisconsin Dells. Once you get away from teh tourist stuff it's quite pretty.

And yeah, the author is nuts. Disney is great, the Alamo is fascinating and Oklahoma is only the center of the universe since Quirt moved there.

The Dells, as seen from The Empire Builder.

Of course not. It is breathtaking, nothing like it. The problem lies in the fact that if you are not going down into it there isn’t much else to do. You can go from vantage point to vantage point but the view does not change all that much. Still, you should see it if you can.
