Trump Supporter Evicts Disabled Tenant After Facebook Post Bashing President
https://www.newsweek.com/trump-supporter-evicts-disabled-tenant-after-facebook-post-bashing-president-1526878FWIW, I have no problem with this. The tenant lapsed into a month-to-month lease, and it looks like the landlord followed the terms of the lease and gave notice sufficiently in advance of the eviction date.

Seems like it takes us to a place we don’t want to be. Like boycotts but for people.

This is a roommate situation, not a rental. Sharing a living space with someone you severe disagreements with? Ugh.

“ "bipolar disorder, generalized anxiety disorder, complex post-traumatic stress disorder, agoraphobia... joint pain and sciatica,"” it may be true, but there’s an excellent chance that’s all a bunch of BS. I think we may have discovered what happened to that girl from the triggered meme.

“Wages left a restaurant prep cook job to start substitute teaching, but she lacked the internet access needed to teach after the epidemic started, so that job fell through. Later on, she left another gig at a local market and restaurant over fears of contracting COVID-19.” A lot of public jobs for someone with agoraphobia. Why is she getting disability when she could find and work at so many jobs?
The headline can easily be changed to “Woman gets kicked out of apartment for being a twattle head”

"Wages, a WHITE woman with "bipolar disorder, generalized anxiety disorder, complex post-traumatic stress disorder, agoraphobia..."
Why mention that at all?
Wages received $794 in monthly social security disability benefits, $700 in weekly unemployment relief and used a "Section 8" federal housing voucher which covers anywhere from 50 to 65 percent of the rent.
$1500 a month plus at least half your rent paid? Nice gig.
