Ridiculous hostage swaps, one for a thousand?
Make the Gaza strip a country because it's somehow preferable to action against Hamas?

Rewarding the perpetrators of 7th October atrocities in anyway is unacceptable. We need to enforce harsh deterrence.

I was thinking the same thing. But I dont know anything about war tactics.

But, just start at the top, link arms, and walk down, checking every person. (I know, I know, much to simple thinking)

That doesn’t eliminate Hamas. It eliminates members of Hamas (or non-members) who happen to be armed at the moment.
