If that's for real--I like that lots and lots. I kind of think that's a show, they certainly "hype" the tubes. I had a Magnatone M15. I used it for R&R and I used it for my stereo. 30 tubes I think--but most likely less.
Let me add: I rewired both my 6 string and my 12 string for stereo. Each pick up on the guitar played through a different side of the amp. It created a wall of noise (as opposed to a wall of sound.) I was cool, though.
