Because Jon loves the froggos so much
-
Ona came for another visit recently. She just shows up all of a sudden!
This time she first appeared on the lid of my sewing bag. She must be a fan of fiber arts.
Or not.
She pooped on my sewing bag!
Once the poop was done, she hopped off the bag to the cushion.
That's when she peed on my leg, foot, and the cushion. For a frog, this was a huge pee. She must have been saving it for me.
Mission accomplished! Poop and pee delivered, she now prepares to exit.
In one big leap she goes from the footstool all the way to a pole by the sofa.
From there, she went the full length of the sofa, through a metal plant stand, across the entrance to the porch, around a porch pedestal for the pillars, and out into the wilds of our front yard.
I love this little gal already. Look at those beautiful markings. We think it's a female based on size, but time will tell. One song of trilling will reverse that thought to her being a him.
The love will remain intact.Can hardly wait to see if we have another visit tonight.

@jon-nyc
I believe you, Jon.
Again, your expertise makes me respect you on this topic, too.(Thank you for setting that up so nicely. You are such a good friend indeed!)
Don't worry. I wiped all the poop and pee off before the hug.
Oh wait. Maybe you prefer ...

You’re pretty patient @brenda . Messing on my sewing box would be a serious offence for any critter on my porch!
@blondie Their little poos are very tidy to pick up with a tissue. It was on the plastic skein separating cover.
Since then, I have taken more care to have the entire lid closed while sewing on the porch in the evening. It's a good thing, because the next night she jumped on top of my sewing bag again!

@Mik
Froggo pee is not at all like humans' pee. It's clear, not yellow, and has no odor. A quick wipe with a tissue and it's history.I think I figured out where she enters the porch. We built a new copper trellis that is outside the porch right behind my chair. She climbs that and leaps from there onto me or my chair.
This little frog is an impressive jumper! "She's got legs, and she knows how to use them."
