From what I gather, it’s just over a rather boilerplate contract phrasing that the Bengals altered to no real great effect, but that the agents are not willing to accept since there was no equivalent concession back to them? What’s the real deal?
As far as I know that's it. It has to do with guaranteed money and gives them an out on some of it if he doesn't play for whatever reason. In a year where it's put up or shut up, it's a bad look for team and player.
