Same here. In fact, I've never had it at all afaik.

Do they have a white meat/ dark meat dichotomy like chickens do?

      Education is extremely important.

Not really. Although tame rabbits are milder tasting than wild. And the rabbits we have (cotton tails and swampers) are much more tender and better tasting than a jackrabbit.

Rabbit makes a mighty fine brown gravy. Served over hot biscuits, it's hard to beat.

Ate rabbit meat maybe half a dozen times, sometimes grilled, sometimes in a casserole. Vaguely recall that tastes more like chicken that like pork or beef. Nothing remarkable except that it's not commonly available.

My wife had rabbits as pets growing up.

She would cry if she saw rabbit meat in the refrigerator. That's not an exaggeration.

I've had it before. Liked it. (Mostly in restaurants)

D3 has a bunny as a pet to this day. If I even mentioned eating one, my wife would go nuts as well.

I've eaten beef, pork, chicken, and fish. You can keep your little bunny rabbits, bambi, squirrels, sheep, horses, snakes, alligators, and whatever other 4 legged creature people eat away from me.

I think most people with a functioning brain would have noticed it's absence from the list of things I HAVE eaten and made the logical conclusion that possum would fall into the "whatever other 4 legged creature" group.

I raised them growing up, then when in adulthood I had a good friend who raised them. All I had to do was tell him I was looking for one and he’d slaughter and dress one out for me. It was great.
