De-unionizing Federal Employees?

Directionally good, though I’m fairly confident he’ll find a way to do it badly. I don’t know about the legality. I’m sure we’ll see.

I’ve often argued government employee are just another special interest lobbying group. They should have their right to lobby all they want, but not to harm the government when they don’t get their way.

Seems obvious that there are conflicts of interest at the negotiating table between union representatives and the bureaucrats who pay them. But I know in our current climate we have to make noises about how hard the government workers have it, and that now more than ever they need to be unionized.

How have unions harmed government when they didn't get their way? Feds can't strike. What can they do then that is harmful?

I’m old enough to remember the air traffic controllers striking.
Also here it’s the subway guys even though it’s illegal.
