Instead of trying to destabilize the country, why don't you plow some of those political funds into something more beneficial, like urban housing or medical research.
In 2018, Soros put $708M into politics. Just think ... What could $500M do for Habitat For Humanity or for medical research?

There are still limits to donating to a particular campaign. But you can spend your own money advocating for a candidate without limits. Normally that involves giving money to a dedicated Political Action Committee. The Supreme Court decision that give us this result is referred to as ‘Citizens United’, and you’ll still occasionally hear it referenced though not as much as we did a decade ago.
