Boy Scout outing in Chappaqua, NY in 1918.
Chappaqua is ~10mi north of me where the Clinton’s live.

Yeah they do but it took me a minute. Those flat metal pieces go through a slot in the bottom horizontal bar. If you slide either of them out you can slide the bar out. Both locks need to be secured to prevent sliding them out.

I think the design idea generalizes to an arbitrary number of locks.

The freckles look a little off this close up (though I bet they look great a little further away). But damn. Look at that detail. The little moisture in the corner of the eye. The curvature of the nostril. Amazing.
