Ringo at the Ryman

Watched it. He's doing pretty good for a guy who'll be 85 in a few months.
Maybe it was just me, but I thought I heard some voice tuning on a couple of singers. The Ryman has unbelievable acoustics -it was designed as a church, before sound systems - and you can use a "theater voice" on stage and be heard on the back pews.
I'd prefer the production be as raw as possible.

There's a channel on YouTube, Wings of Pegasus, where a guy uses computer software to look for post-production correction. It's become so industry standard, even people who have great voices get tweaked (Kelley Clarkson for example).
Regardless... The Ringo special was filmed over a couple of nights in January and was done (on his part) to promote his new album. I do get a bit tickled when watching Ringo sing on stage. He's so used to keeping time behind a drumkit, he's bouncing in rhythm as he sings.
