Civic Hybrid manufacturing moving from Mexico to Indiana because of tariffs.

    https://www.reuters.com/business/autos-transportation/honda-produce-next-civic-indiana-not-mexico-due-us-tariffs-sources-say-2025-03-03/

Let me be clear, I still don’t like it. Reeks of protectionism and US manufacturing has always gone downhill in that environment.

I wonder what that’ll do to the list price.

Well, I'm thinking about buying (another!) guitar, and tarrifs might make it easier to justify shelling out for a US-made one, rather than Mexico, Indonesia etc.

A win for me! Not so much for the wife.

        I was only joking

six figure unionized assembly line jobs? Good for those who get them.

That's not going to last long. They'll have to replace them with Roberts.

Where did you see that? I know the Dockworkers new deal moved them over $100K and likely close to $200K with typical overtime.
