Good that Dollar Tree can get such a high value, low cost product to its customers.

This sunday night I had steelhead fillets. They always look so beautiful, just like perfect salmon, but I've tried them before and been disappointed. Not this time. This time I would have sworn they were salmon if I didn't know otherwise. At half the price salmon, I'll never buy salmon again when steelhead is available. Too bad it's only available at Costco.

We stopped by a Dollar Tree today. No ribeyes, but they had biscuit sliced country ham. Fantastic on breakfast sandwiches.

I'm going on a fish diet starting next week. I might give those a try.

Slimeheads, also known as roughies and redfish, are mostly small, exceptionally long-lived,
So it lived through a couple world wars, only to expire at the end of your fork. Sad.

Technically, the slimehead's long journey ended in my stomach. It's light flakey and very tasty. The slimeheads may disagee of course, but I think a good dinner outweighs the sad end of the perdurable piscean. Into every life (even a fish's,) a little rain must fall.
