Things were already fucked in 2012. I’d like to see that going back to 1990.
And break out IT staff which was nonexistent 35 years ago and has a good excuse to have grown. (Not that it hasn’t grown too much in some cases, but still)
There are a huge number of people involved who are not instructors. Bursars, admissions, records, building and grounds maintenance, financial aid, AV folks. I agree there are too many nonessential employees, but that graph is a very limited picture.
