Though wet market, lab leak, either way it’s a product of their country and culture.

I think most reasonable people would not find fault with a virus naturally mutating and spreading. They might feel differently if the virus didn’t mutate naturally, had two manufacturing marks on it, and leaked from a lab that’s had numerous other close calls, but was financially supported by the US under two administrations, including the MAGA guy…

Did Trump remember to charge tariffs on the virus? I don’t recall.

To be fair, how much do you think Trump or Obama knew about the funding for the Wuhan lab?

It’s okay to say that the guy did some good, a bunch bad, and was still better than the alternative.

Interestingly enough, I work with two people who traveled to a committee meeting fairly near Wuhan in or around October 2019. They were both as sick as hell when they got back.

              Yes, 2019.

                On the President's desk.

But if you think the President, any President is aware of everything, especially when trusted government officials are not telling him something or are feeding him misinformation, I've got this oceanfront property in Arizona for sale.

My memory might be faulty, but I seem to recall Rand Paul providing receipts on Fauci’s activities in the summer of 2020, months before Trump was giving him commendations.

Again, I think there are reasons for the 2014 back-dating for one or more of the pardoned, and the rest got that same date to camouflage the identities of those specific people.

That's all but solved, at least I'm convinced so based on a documentary I saw recently. The pilot had a very elaborate plan to ditch the plane and murder everybody on board, in a way that would leave more questions than answers. He pulled it off.

                                https://www.newsmax.com/politics/cia-anthony-fauci-wuhan/2026/05/13/id/1256166/

An active CIA officer told senators Wednesday that Dr. Anthony Fauci played a significant role in influencing intelligence officials to back away from concluding that COVID-19 originated from a laboratory leak in Wuhan, China.

James Erdman, a CIA special operations officer, testified before the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee that the intelligence community in August 2021 was nearing a determination that the pandemic likely stemmed from a lab leak before the assessment changed days later, reports The Daily Mail.

"Dr. Fauci's role in the cover-up was intentional," Erdman told the committee. "Dr. Fauci influenced the analytical process and findings by leveraging his position to ensure the IC consulted with a conflicted list of curated subject matter experts, public health officials, and scientists."

Erdman said documentation showed the CIA was prepared to declare COVID-19 a lab leak on Aug. 12, 2021, but that position shifted by Aug. 17.

So the specific allegation is that he gave them a list of people to interview and the testimony of those individuals caused CIA to change its mind?

Let's say for the sake of argument that it was in fact a lab leak. What's the followup? What can we gain for the American public by rehashing this over and over?

To quote Hilary, "At this point, what difference does it make?". Those who are in charge have learned, hopefully, whatever lesson there is to be learned.

An accurate history of what happened. There is value in truth.

"Difference?" Probably none. However, there are laws about lying to Congress, and the fact that Fauci got a preemptive pardon is something. You can be assured that if you or I lied to a government entity we'd be in zipties faster than you can say General Flynn, George Papadopolous, and Roger Stone.

                                      I love you long time.
