Bass's first trip to Cuba?
"Bass first visited Cuba in 1973 when she was 19 years old. The Atlantic magazine reported that she traveled as part of the Venceremos Brigade, a program jointly organized by the Castro government and the Students for a Democratic Society, a U.S. group. The Brigade organized trips for left-leaning Americans to Cuba.".
That is how they describe SDS? A U.S. group? Really?

I'm not pro or con Bass. I just would not like to see her pay for something she was involved in at age 19.
(I hit Submit by accident.)
Resuming: Plenty of people express interest in Cuba in one way or another without being made to feel like a communist. If she's still too invested in pro-Castro type stuff, then fine, we don't want her in government. But if it's something she has left behind, I think to besmirch her solely because of something she was involved in 50 years ago because she's a present-day Democrat is dirty pool.

I’m against Bass. Florida is in play. Let’s not give that up before the fight even begins.

I had original thought Susan Rice would be his choice.
Now I may switch to Senator Duckworth.
