First season was an interesting mishmash of old devices - time travel, alternate universes, then it just got kind of woke wonk. I cannot say I’m interested in the new season.

      Bring back Strange New Worlds.

        This year, supposedly.

I quite enjoyed the JJ Abrams movies, but they weren't really Star Trek. I haven't watched anything since them.

          I was only joking

            Agreed.

I haven't watched anything since them.

Picard was meh in the 1st season. I didn't watch the next two. Discovery lost me when they resurrected a tardigrade and made it part of the warp drive mechanism. A tardigrade? REALLY?

Strange New Worlds isn't bad, though sometimes goes off the rails. It's the most "Star Trek-ish" I think. I even forgave the musical episode.

I dunno, I like them and thought they gave a passing nod to canon.

Pine, Saldana, Urban have all said they onboard for #4. Pine has publicly stated that he would like to do a lower budget picture that was less Marvel-like and more like the original TV series.

Come up with a good script, and who knows?

The Picards were a shame. It could have been very interesting, especially if they ditched the gratuitous cameos of old characters.
