There was an idea floated here by @jon-nyc that anybody who was against woke, should just vote Kamala. How has that worked out? Did Trump voters who are also anti-woke, self-own with their vote? Discuss.

I’ve been waiting for this thread.

Yes I was wrong. The left has behaved much better than I had predicted. Why? The very people their identitarian ideology was supposed to serve rejected it which has caused some self reflection. Let’s hope it lasts.

I think on the corporate side it will. Let’s see if the momentum continues in higher ed. I fear that at the local level (eg school districts, etc) it might be different. Not sure that crowd feels chastened. They’re still on the Right Side of History(tm)

        That is correct.

Actually I said something different. Don't vote for Trump in order to get less woke. Vote for him for judges, vote for him for Greenland, or because you want a nanny-state leftist crank in charge of health policy, or whatever. But not for less woke.

In hindsight, that advice didn't apply to blacks and hispanics. For them, voting for Trump is going to give them less woke.

That sounds a little bit racist.

I meant for it to sound a lot racist. I’ll do better next time.

Woke’s over. It’s the n-word all the way down.

Vote for him because he loves minorities, and the democrats hate minorities.
