RealID required as of May for domestic travel. Probably all states have a DL version that qualifies but if you’re still holding one from 5 years ago that probably doesn’t.

Passport still works, too.

Yeap, got my RealID compliant driver's license a couple years back.

I was renewing mine a while back and the choice was submit an online request or go into the office to get the realID. I was lazy and chose the former. But in my defense they still had Covid restrictions and had limited offices open. I usually carry my passport anyway.

But next renewal I’ll definitely get it.

I finally got my real ID today.

Passport, electric bill, drivers license, social security card and $43 - about 50 minutes at the DMV

no big deal
