I dunno. Weiner or Clinton - who did it best (Spitzer a close 3rd).

No longer a rumour. The Dauphin will step down as leader of the Liberal Party and hold a press conference at 10:45 EST today.

There are a few options. Chances are he will prorogue Parliament but stay on as PM until the Liberals elect a new leader. That has been the practice in past. He could also prorogue Parliament, then step down and the Party appoint an interim leader until a new leader is elected. No precedent for such in this country.
Regardless, the Dauphin is going.

Chrystia Freeland’s sudden resignation letter as Deputy PM and Minister of Finance the week before Christmas set a caucus revolt in motion. Not unlike what happened to Boris Johnson in the UK.

BoJo was at least intellectually sharp and had a wicked sense of humour. The Dauphin possesses neither intellect or humour.
The Dauphin’s narcissism even exceed’s the current President Elect’s. That fact alone explains much as to why neither can abide one another.

LOL: "Do you think that Trudeau will run for Governor of Canada when it becomes the 51st state?"
