I enjoyed it. Lots of intrigue, not that much action. It's a bit slow moving, but I didn't mind that.

We’re likely going to start bingeing it Saturday night. Have they finished Season 1?

Yes, it's finished.
I had to watch Episode 1 twice, because it made no sense at all, however I may have had
a couple of drinksa long day at work the first time.... -

Much like the movie, it stops in an awkward place. Things just starting to get interesting, and then get abruptly stops.
Much like the Apple TV version of foundation, it has only the barest resemblance to any of the books. Some of the characters are the same, and a major character is made up out of whole cloth. I'm a mixed feelings about it, but I will certainly give it a view when the second season comes around.
Bluefin's dad, you've read the Anderson and Herbert books haven't you? I'll be really interested to see what your take on the television adaptation is. I was at the same time, intrigued and disappointed.

While they gave Foundation at least an interesting treatment, I really hate to see classics mangled.

I can’t type very well because of the dressing on my right hand. So, I am dictating.

Well, Doc, you ought to be pretty good at dictation. Might be a bit rusty I guess.
How's the hand feeling?

One of the great joys of my profession is that I rarely had to dictate anything. All my notes on the anesthesia record were handwritten, until we went to the electronic medical record. After that time, the machines took care of charting the vital signs and all I had to do was manually enter any drugs that I gave.
Last time I dictated anything was in 1977.
Edit to ad:
This post was completely dictated.
