I recall now reading about that incident some years ago. I also remember another KGB honey trap that came to nothing with either a French or Italian diplomat. When presented with the photos and extortion threat, he allegedly asked the KGB hood(s) if they would make copies and so he could show them to his wife, who was convinced he was impotent.
