Peruvian food is getting hotter and hotter. On the high end (like restaurants recently getting Michelin stars) but every day stuff too. Last time I was in Raleigh-Durham, we ate at a Peruvian fast foodish place, and it was an NC based chain. Plenty of people there, and not just latinos.

Very normal dish there. Not really different than whole fish except people feel funnier about mammals.
