Waffle House comedy

Never been in a Waffle House.

Or an Ihop for that matter.

Closest I've come is Denny's (I think 3 times).

All are ok. Ihop gussies things up more than I like - whipped cream, fruit sauces, etc. Waffle House is higher protein due the the cockroaches but if you’re really hungry and they’re open…. Dennys is the best of the three if you get a good one. Big breakfasts, cheap price.

But...It's open at 3AM or on Christmas day.

Imagine being in the restroom of a gas station...that sells waffles.

I dont have to imagine. I was there today. Stopped to use the restroom at a Speedway that sold, among other things, waffles. We were in Hocking County.

For some reason, Karla likes them and always defends them. One time we went into one for her and Lucas to eat (I refused). She commented “See! This place is pretty clean!” I replied “tell me your shoes aren’t sticking to the floor at least a little…” She couldn’t respond because yes, her shoes were sticking to the floor…

Andre Agassi always ate breakfast at the Waffle House across from the Marriott when he played here. He ate there when he first won and I suppose is superstitious.

The Waffle House I just mentioned was in Hamilton…

One time I was on an overnight drive and needed a cup of coffee. Waffle House was the only option open. I ran in, ordered a coffee to go, ran to the restroom, grabbed the coffee and paid on the way out. I got I. The car and was a mile down the road before I took a drink. It was the blue cleaning fluid they let sit in the dishes to sterilize them.

Nope. Never having been to a Waffle House before May I assumed it was interchangeable with Perkins, Denny’s and maybe iHop. But it’s actually a crime against humanity.

Don't know why the guy was so mean about Waffle House. It's not even funny. The "jokes" are way too contrived. :man-shrugging:

It depends on what you consider humanity. In my more pessimistic moments, I consider Waffle House to be the crowning achievement of humanity…

Denny’s was always my favorite. I have always been amazed when I hear people denigrate Denny’s below IHOP and Waffle House.

IHOP is bad, but the actual International House of Pancakes are quite good.
