I actually have done it both for me and the boy. I used a fake name for him (my father’s name, actually) for that reason.
Me I don’t give a shit. Anyone who googles me will see my worst known mutation and more medical history than they care to know (because I speak publicly about it often).

I'm not terribly concerned with what they can do today. I am thinking more about how it could be abused in the future.

For eight years I’ve been living with a mid-single digit life expectancy. I don’t worry too much about my own future, at least not beyond the next 5 years.

The thing is, even if you dont do it, there is probably some relative out there somewhere who has. So, they probably would be able to track you somehow.
I am not too worried yet, as I dont think the testing is too popular in Asia................ yet.
