No charging

I have a iPad pro, 12.9" that is the 2021 model. Nice machine.
The last couple of days, when I plug it in to charge, it won't charge. I have tried plugging into various charging bricks, including plugging into the back of my computer. I've tried various cables, all with no joy.
If I plug in my phone, however, it charges fine using any cable and any power brick.
I took a drive to the Apple store and explained, and they checked it out. They found no problem with it. Charged fine with their stuff.
I tried using a genuine Apple power brick and a genuine Apple USB-C cable when I got home, no joy.
I'm going to list it on eBay "for parts only", but I don't understand why it charged at the Apple store and not at home.
Any ideas?

That's weird. Hold off on disposing of it. If you're around on Monday - let's get together and try some of my blocks/cords and see if we have success. The only thing I can think of is that the C input is perhaps finicky. I've had that happen with a computer. You wiggle it correctly - and it charges - sometimes. It might need replacement.

I know. I tried all that.
In anticipation of having trouble with it, I got a replacement. I took it out of the box and used the new cord and new brick. New device started charging. Old device would not.
I"m not going to mess with it. It's up for sale on eBay.
Last thing I need is a "finicky" cable.

Wow.
Yeah, I'm shocked. I started the auction at $100, figuring I might get $150.
That said, I hope the buyer understands the condition of the item. I hope I was explicit enough in the descriptions.
Several years ago, I sold an iMac. Buyer left positive feedback, saying it was exactly as described. Two weeks later he wanted to return because it would not boot - claimed "My tech said the motherboard is shot."
I disputed the refund claim, and eBay backed me up because of the positive feedback.

Good for you. You can't be more clear.

I’ll let you know as soon as I receive it. Horace promised me a sweet deal on an Apple Smart Keyboard.
